1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CompliTru ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Description of Service

CompliTru provides cloud security and compliance management services, including vulnerability scanning, compliance monitoring, cost optimization analysis, and related tools for Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The Service requires you to connect your cloud accounts and grant appropriate permissions for scanning and analysis.

3. User Accounts and Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Cloud Account Access and Permissions

By connecting your cloud accounts to CompliTru, you grant us permission to access and analyze your cloud resources as necessary to provide the Service. We recommend using read-only IAM roles with least-privilege permissions. You are responsible for ensuring that the permissions you grant comply with your organization's security policies. We will not make changes to your cloud infrastructure without your explicit authorization.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
• Transmit malicious code or interfere with the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or networks
• Use the Service to scan or monitor accounts you do not own or have authorization to access
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without authorization

6. Payment and Billing

Certain features of the Service require payment. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to pay all applicable fees as described at the time of purchase. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly stated in these terms. We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days' notice. Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your account.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by CompliTru and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service without prior written consent. Your data remains your property; we claim no ownership over your cloud configuration data or scan results.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE. COMPLITRU DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT SECURITY SCANS WILL DETECT ALL VULNERABILITIES OR THAT COMPLIANCE RECOMMENDATIONS WILL ENSURE FULL REGULATORY COMPLIANCE. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN SECURITY AND COMPLIANCE DECISIONS.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COMPLITRU SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, we will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, unless retention is required by law.
